DEERFIELD, IL, November 14, 2022 — PremiStar, a leader in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and building controls services, has rebranded 15 of its Midwest service companies in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin under the PremiStar name. These sister companies, which all operated under different legacy names dating back to 1930, began sharing resources during the pandemic to better meet the needs of more than 8,000 commercial and industrial customers. The new brand unifies the company’s Midwest service offerings and eliminates brand confusion for one of the largest HVAC service providers in the region.
“Our company has been in continuous operation for nearly a century. During that time, we have acquired, invested in and developed 33 companies throughout the US.,” said Joe Kirmser, CEO of PremiStar. “We have traditionally retained the legacy brands of companies that join the PremiStar family. But combining 15 of our Midwest companies, who worked closely during the pandemic, under the PremiStar brand made sense for our customers and teammates.”
The following companies have rebranded as PremiStar:
Illinois: General Mechanical, RMC Mechanical, Southwest Town Mechanical, First Point Mechanical, Corrigan, Arrigo, Northern Mechanical, Commercial Mechanical, Broesch, Chicago Cooling, Protek, Tessendorf. Indiana: Parkway Mechanical. Wisconsin: AccuTemp, Just Mechanical.
Kirmser, who joined the company in 2019, has overseen the completion of 20 new company affiliations, expanding the service footprint throughout the Midwest, Mountain West, Southwest and Southeast, and increasing revenues by over 250%. In 2021, the company joined forces with Partners Group, a leading global private markets investment firm, to help strengthen its competitive advantage, invest in technical resources and expand into new markets.
